Ben Hall Secures Centerline Athletics Sponsorship — A Big Step Forward for Hanover Pickleball Star

Hanover Central High junior Benjamin "Ben" Hall announced on February 8, 2026, that he earned a sponsorship with Centerline Athletics, a family-focused pickleball apparel company from Appleton, Wisconsin, a milestone friends, family, and coaches say rewards his hard work, sportsmanship, and steady rise in the sport; inspired by family—his father introduced him to pickleball and helped open Pickle Time in Crown Point, Indiana, while his mother has supported travel and logistics—Ben trains with APP and APP Academy, competes nationally in the APP Next Gen series, and built a professional platform with coaches’ recommendations to secure the deal, which he calls “a great fit” and sees as exposure and a stepping stone before planned intensive training in Florida after his January 2027 graduation and likely college studies in exercise science aiming toward physical therapy, while Centerline celebrates the partnership by offering 30% off with his code BEN.

Entrepreneurship Students Attend Business Model Canvas Training at Valparaiso University

Students from Hanover Central High School visited Valparaiso University on December 4, 2025, to participate in a Business Model Canvas training through the university’s Innovation Hub. The experience allowed entrepreneurship students to collaborate with peers from other schools, learn from industry examples, and deepen their understanding of business models. The workshop connected classroom learning to real-world applications and helped students refine and inspire their own entrepreneurial ideas.

Hanover Student Spotlight: Sherayah Kitchen’s DNA Journey at Notre Dame

Sherayah Kitchen, a Hanover student with a lifelong love for Notre Dame, attended the university’s DNA Learning Center summer program after being encouraged by her biology teacher, Mrs. Sofia Chittenden. Known for her curiosity and passion for science, Sherayah embraced the chance to do advanced lab work, including tracing her mitochondrial genome. The experience boosted her confidence, solidified her interest in pursuing a science-related career, and gave her a glimpse of college life on her dream campus. Inspired and motivated, she now plans to study exercise science in college and encourages other students to take advantage of similar opportunities.
